Welcome to POTTER TALES!
Potter- Tales is a fun and light roleplaying site based around the popular series by JK Rowling, Harry Potter. The site has been down for a very long while, but it is now back for the summer of 2009.
Potter Tales is back for Summer '09! The site is just here for a place to relax and join in some random roleplay based around the theme of the world of Harry Potter. Also why not get to know the rest of the members in other boards, such as the chat board or the 'games and fun' board?
To get started, just head to character creation and fill out the application template to your best ability, ready for one of the admins to come round and approve it for role playing. As soon as your character is approved, you may start right away!
They're not too many rules, only that you treat all members of staff and of the board with respect. Role play posts have no limits to them, but!!! please try your best in every post to keep the role play going... be descriptive and as helpful to the next person as possible to help them post something to follow instead of allowing it to become stale. Also, grammer and spelling don't have to be Oxford and Harvard standard, but no text speak and try your best to keep it readable for fellow members!
Thank you and we hope you enjoy your time here immensely!
Want to get to know others? Well come in here and socialise with old or new Wizard/Witchs by creating a board and leaving a little intro about yourself!
Come in here if your bored or just waiting for a role play reply and play a game! If you think of any you enjoy or know please start a new thread and start one!
This board is basically for any 'shout outs' its may be a good luck, a well done, a reminder or simply a happy birthday but whatever it maybe come along and share!
(4 sub-boards) The place to come and kick back in after a long day of lessons. Make sure though that house members stick to their own boards.'

(13 sub-boards) What would be the point of coming to Hogwarts without some good old learning. Join classes or do some independant study in the quiet rooms.
Wall to wall of bookshelves, wooden tables and chairs with plenty of room to do your essays and research, not passing notes to your BFF about how cute that boy is in Ravenclaw!
